This entails extending financial support to target groups, be it in the form of grants or loans in accordance with Islamic financing directed towards the establishment of income-generating projects. Upon evaluating every potential beneficiary, the team utilizes methodologies and criteria for the final selection of beneficiary target groups that ensure existing resources, skills and capacities for such beneficiaries are sufficient towards achieving project viability and sustainability.

Entails designing vocational training programs based on need assessments within the Palestinian market, with the aim of capacity building of young men and women who have not had the fortune of completing their education due to unaffordability. Such capacity building would equip them with necessary soft and professional skills as aligned with their ambitions and underlying talents, ultimately contributing towards integrating them into the job market.

Design interventions for temporary employment taking into consideration the need of local institutions on the one hand, and fresh graduates as well as unemployed skilled labor on the other hand.

• Business Development and Capacity Building: Providing small businesses during pre-inception stage with capacity building and needed training to ensure successful business kick off including training in project management, feasibility assessment, and financial management. During project/business execution and post establishment, the team provides monitoring and support with the aim of ensuring business sustainability and viability in light of any potential challenges and threats to be encountered.
• Incubation and Entrepreneurship Support: A strategy implemented in partnership with Palestinian incubators/universities with the aim of providing an enabling environment for young men and women with entrepreneurial ideas that ensure such ideas are transformed into income generating and employment driving projects. In this context, training services are provided in areas encompassing preparation of business plans, financial management and marketing. Finally, legal and management consultancy and support is provided post project kick off and establishment

A strategy targeting marginalized groups that suffer challenges peventing them from pursuing and starting their own businesses or projects including youth, women and those with disabilities. Sustainable job opportunities are providing for such groups by integrating them into existing social enterprises where their role would be to provide required products in return for a monthly wage, while the social enterprise would be responsible for managing production line(s) technically, financially and legally in addition to product marketing. As such, PNEEI would finance and develop production lines for the social enterprise in return for employing the target groups within the enterprise.

In implementing the supportive social services component, the Foundation relies on the case management methodology, which is based on the efficient and effective management of the allocated resources, regardless of their source, with the aim of improving the living conditions of the targeted poor families and achieving their independence and ability to self-reliance to provide all requirements that make all family members live with dignity and dignity. The intervention is either to enhance the capabilities of the empowered families, with whom the supportive social services intervention is a supportive element through an integrated and comprehensive targeting that enhances the opportunity for the sustainability of the economic empowerment intervention so that other family needs are not an obstacle to the family’s economic independence. One of the most important needs in this field is the preparation, training and qualification of the human resource candidate for economic empowerment, or needs in the field of health, education and housing for the person on whom the empowerment is based or for his/her family members. Poor families may also be targeted to respond to urgent problems and challenges that must be met. These families may not be able to be empowered and from the lists or nominations of the Ministry of Social Development.
