The "Furejat" initiative

An initiative extended by Al-Quds Bank in partnership with the Palestinian National Foundation for Economic Empowerment, with a value of $30,000 To reduce poverty by supporting 6 poor families from the governorates of Ramallah, Nablus and Hebron in establishing/developing small projects that contribute to providing sources of income.

26 poor families were nominated from the lists of the Ministry of Social Development from the mentioned areas, 6 of whom were selected to benefit from the grant. Six economic feasibility studies were developed for the implemented projects, which varied from industrial projects, food processing projects to commercial projects. Periodic follow-up visits to the implemented projects were carried out to ensure sustainability and the beneficiaries abilities to manage their projects
