Ahmed is a 32-year-old man from the village of Beta/Nablus, married with two children, and supports his father and mother. Ahmed worked for 15 years as a carpentry teacher in different carpentry shops, but 3 years ago he was hit by a disc in his back that limited the possibility of his commitment to work in other carpentry shops, which forced him to leave work and this affected his psychological situation and the economic and social situation of the family greatly. The positive impact of the project appeared immediately on Ahmed, as he regained his confidence in himself and in his ability to work and support his family. He was also able, after financing and from the project’s proceeds, to pay all his debts and the full costs of the equipment he contributed to buying the project. Ahmed is able to contribute to the training and employment of other workers, as he provides, in addition to his self-employment, two job opportunities for two other young men.

The difficult health condition that afflicted her husband, which prevented him from committing to work, until she was nominated for the “Farajat” initiative to empower marginalized families, which was implemented by the Foundation with funding from Al-Quds Bank. The Foundation supported Lina Samara and provided the necessary services in developing her project by helping her to carry out an economic feasibility study for the project and identify its needs. The project “Baytuna Kitchen” moved from the corner of the small house to an independent site, rehabilitated and equipped it with more advanced equipment, to become “Our House Kitchen” today The main source of income for the family, as both Umm Qassem and her husband devote themselves to managing the project, due to the doubling of the volume of demand, which doubled the family's income, and began to pay off the accumulated debts, the rent of the house, and Abu Qassem's illness.

Asmaa Abu Salim, a 40-year-old woman from Hebron with a degree in Islamic education methods, supports her three orphaned children. After struggling to find a job, she took the initiative to teach students from her home during the COVID-19 pandemic, helping working mothers who couldn't follow up on their children's studies. Due to the growing demand for her teaching, Asmaa decided to establish an educational center in early 2021. She rented and renovated a space, and with financial and technical support from a foundation, she equipped the center with necessary resources. Today, the center enrolls over 40 students, employs three female teachers, and offers comprehensive educational support. The project has significantly improved her family's financial stability and created job opportunities for other women in need.
