Karama Solidarity Project

It is a development project that aims to enable 23 poor and economically weak families to increase their monthly income so that they become able to meet their basic needs without waiting for assistance or aid from anyone through establishing or developing economic activities. This project is implemented with funding and in partnership with Karama Solidarity Foundation, as this project is implemented in 4 governorates: Nablus, Hebron, Bethlehem and Jerusalem. It also targets 3 categories: youth, women and people with disabilities. It was agreed that orphan families who receive assistance from Karama Solidarity Foundation in Nablus and Bethlehem through orphan associations would be one of the nominated categories if someone meets the eligibility criteria, in addition to young graduates from Al-Quds University who benefited from the Karama Foundation’s certificate release grant, which is the first category, in addition to the second category, which is the families nominated by the Ministry of Social Development in these governorates.

The project budget amounted to 139,861 euros, as the project implementation began at the beginning of 2023, and the project was extended until March 2024. 23 projects were completed in terms of supply and purchase operations in the first phase of targeting, and it is planned to target 14 beneficiaries in the second phase of the project.
