Project Description:

The global frozen potato market is witnessing continuous growth, with increasing demand in the Middle East for fresh and frozen French fries. Ghalal seeks to capitalize on this demand with its production capacity of 1,000 kg per hour of finished product. The company’s products include traditional straight-cut French fries, in addition to a range of development products such as wavy-cut French fries, waffle-shaped French fries, wedge-shaped French fries, mashed and mixed potatoes. The company targets multiple market segments, including restaurants, fast food chains and supermarkets. The company is currently working on site rehabilitation and installing a production line for semi-fried French fries. This includes contractor work to develop the site and the old hangar, with the completion rate reaching approximately 75%. However, there are still some remaining works, such as approving the final modifications, completing the main contractor’s work in cooperation with Al Yanbu Company, and operating the boilers. The trial also requires the provision of the necessary consumables and raw materials.

The trial operation phase is expected to start during February 2025.
